Defence in the Park – Queer Self-Defence Session
Join us for a summer morning of movement, connection, and empowerment.
This trauma-informed self-defence session is designed specifically for Queer Folk of all levels – whether it’s your first class or your fiftieth. We’ll explore practical techniques to protect yourself, build body confidence, and respond to stress — all in a safe, supportive outdoor space in Regent’s Park. Each outdoor class has 8 available spots, to ensure that everyone has chance to be trained with the instructor for personal feedback and coaching through the techniques.
Expect a mix of:
- Striking & defensive drills
- Groundwork & boundary-setting
- Tools for navigating fear and adrenaline
- A warm community of like-minded humans

Join us for Defence in the Park, a holistic, empowering self-defence session in the fresh air of Regent’s Park.
In this 90-minute class, we’ll focus on practical, trauma-informed techniques including:

✨ How to defend yourself from behind
✨ How to cope with adrenaline: Breathing Techniques and Body Awareness
✨ The Laws Around Self Defence
Expect a supportive, nourishing atmosphere rooted in body awareness, confidence-building, and inner strength.
