Do I need to have any prior knowledge to attend?

No, not at all. Everyone welcome. If you already speak Polari, feel free to come along to share your knowledge but be aware this is an introduction for non-speakers mostly.

A cup of tea and a biscuit! Generally, sessions start with a short introduction on the topic and then open out to a discussion in whatever way people want to take it. The emphasis is on discussion and not on theory as such. On this occasion we have a guest speaker and Polari workshop.n

Will I learn any Polari?

YES! We will be joined by Professor Paul Baker who is planning to teach us a few words and phrases.
