Event description

Description

Queerate, run by FlowWrite, is a 6 week LGBTQ+ writing programme exploring life, growth & seasons of change. This will take place through spoken word and poetry while also exploring different writing styles. There will be interactive workshops, networking, guest speakers and opportunities for performance coaching. By the end of the programme participants will have an opportunity to showcase their queerations and share their journeys of personal growth.

This project is for young people aged 14 – 19. Queerate is an open space for anyone questioning or exploring their identity, a place to share and create beautiful pieces of writing and art while meeting like-minded individuals. We welcome participants from all cultures and backgrounds. Participants are encouraged to attend all of the sessions, but it’s not mandatory.
