Quick fire UFO drawing workshop led by artists Lucinda Purkis and Kate Morris-Millar
Location: SET Lewisham, Unit 1, Lewisham Retail Park, Loampit Vale, London SE13 7RZ
Intuitive extraterrestrial drawing and collage workshop led by artists Lucinda Purkis and Kate Morris-Milliar. Participants will be encouraged to work on a piece and pass it on to the next person, to create richly textured collaborative collages. There will be several stations of different materials including sewing supplies, paints, pastels, colouring pencils and collage materials. Together, we will build playful works which will reflect the joy and surprise of collaboration.
At the end of the workshop finished pieces will be attached to a wooden experimental UFO structure to form an installation which will be displayed as part of the exhibition for the closing event on the 9th of October.
All materials will be provided. Please note: some materials (like paint) may be messy, so we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. The project space can also be chilly, so bring warm layers.
