Quip Shed Comedy @ The Home Guard ft. Seann Walsh

Quip Shed Comedy is back to host its next comedy gig at The Home Guard in East Sheen this November, and we have quite the amazing line-up of comedians joining us: TV's Huge Davies, Russell Hicks, Seann Walsh, and your host Jamie Allerton!

Russell Hicks is one of the UK’s most razor-sharp and exciting comic talents. An American based in London, he is a provocative and exuberant comedian known for his masterful improvisation, and has appeared on some of the UK’s biggest TV networks, including Channel 4, BBC and ITV. Fresh from winning the Prague Fringe Festival 2024, Russell is on tour across the UK.

Combining his confident on stage presence, dark humour, surreal material and his one-of-kind customised keyboard, Huge Davies has quickly risen to become one the most unique acts in the UK. Huge appears regularly on television, including his own Channel 4 sitcom ‘The Artists’ which he created, wrote and starred in. Other television appearances include 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Harry Hill’s Clubnite, Roast Battle, Jools Holland, Hypothetical, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Live at the Comedy Store, Comedians Giving Lectures and The Stand Up Sketch Show.

Described as “the best observational comedian of his generation” (The Guardian), Edinburgh Award nominee Seann Walsh has been touring Back From The Bed throughout 2023 and 2024. His previous tour show After This One, I’m Going Home ended with standing ovations around the country.

Seann has appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Wheel, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Last Leg, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Alan Davies’: As Yet Untitled, World’s Most Dangerous Roads, Battle In The Box and Series 22 of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, where he placed 5th. Seann can also be heard on his regular podcasts What’s Upset You Now, alongside co-host Paul McCaffrey and Oh My Dog, with Jack Dee, where they interview a special guest all about their relationships with their beloved dogs.

Seann’s stand-up specials Kiss and Seann Walsh is Dead, Happy Now are available to watch on his YouTube channel. In Kiss, Seann recounts living through the centre of a media storm in his distinctively shambolic, intense and energetic trademark style. Seann Walsh is Dead, Happy Now follows his life afterwards and amassed over 200,000 views in a matter of days after it was released.
