Quip Shed Comedy @ The Old Cranleighan Club Ft. Troy Hawke

Quip Shed Comedy continues to host its stand-up comedy shows at The Old Cranleighan Club in Thames Ditton! For our September show, we have TV's Huge Davies, Jon Long, and internet sensation Troy Hawke headlining, with a host of other comedians soon to be announced!

Huge Davies appears regularly on television, including his own Channel 4 sitcom ‘The Artists’ which he created, wrote and starred in. Other television appearances include 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Harry Hill’s Clubnite, Roast Battle, Jools Holland, Hypothetical, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Live at the Comedy Store, Comedians Giving Lectures and The Stand Up Sketch Show. Huge performs both in the UK and internationally, also supporting Phil Wang and Joe Lycett on their national tours. Huge has worked as a writer for Never Mind The Buzzcocks & Famalam, is a regular performer on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and co-hosts live podcast The Film Quiz with Nick Helm.

Jon Long is a stand up and musical comedian. His cheery and affable stage presence and host of acerbic comedy songs have seen him become a favourite on the London live circuit, performing and hosting at the capital’s most established clubs such as: Angel Comedy, Top Secret, and The Comedy Store, as well as all round the UK and Europe.

He is currently providing tour support for Chris McCausland, and supported satirical news journalist, Jonathan Pie for some dates n his UK tour of ‘Heroes & Villains’.

Troy Hawke is an erudite home-schooled 1930s throwback... the Errol Flynn of the high street. Educated, sophisticated, but utterly clueless. He tackles modern issues head on in his uniquely untimely manner. He is currently on tour with his show Troy Hawke: The Greeter's Guild, can be seen on Series 18 on Live at the Apollo, and recently performed at Netflix is a Joke Fest 2024.

His show Troy Hawke: Sigmund Troy'd won Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival Awards 2022 and was one of the winners of Soho Playhouse International Fringe Encore Series in 2022.

He has twice been nominated for the Amused Moose Best Edinburgh Show award and was listed as GQ's Top Ten Comedy Shows at the festival.
