There is limited parking at the Village Club, or in the village. Depending on functions, there may be space at the Edmonston Hall or at The Kirkhouse. Please car share, or better still - use the X10 bus. Thank you.

This event is for 18+ only. The quizmaster targets his age group and this event is not suited to children. In addition, we plan to sell tickets to match the capacity of the hall. Thank you.

What is the DofE Gold Expedition?

The DofE Gold Expedition involves hiking in Scotland with a practice expedition for 3 days (2 nights camping) and a qualifying expedition for 4 days (and 3 nights camping). These challenges are taking place in Aug/Sept 2025 with sessions of planning and training with an Approved Activity Provider.
