Quizmas for a Cause

Join us for a special International Christmas Quiz Night – all for a good cause!

We warmly welcome all our international friends and colleagues to join us on Zoom for an evening of festive fun, connection and community. This quiz night is a chance for all of us, wherever we are in the world, to come together, laugh, relax and raise money for two important causes close to our hearts.

Family Based Solutions (FBS) supports families experiencing Child to Parent Abuse and the wider impact of domestic abuse. Our work focuses on helping parents and young people rebuild safety, trust and hope through conversations that create change. Every contribution helps us continue offering support, training and early intervention to families who need it most.

We will also be supporting the Nakivale Community Project in Uganda. Hope is a community centre supporting refugee children, teenagers and widows, giving them a place to learn new skills, grow in confidence and access opportunities for their future. Their work is meaningful and life-changing, and we are proud to stand alongside them.

All money raised from this event will be split between FBS and the Nakivale Community Project.

Agenda for the evening

• First hour: A Christmas-themed international quiz and a round of festive bingo
• Second hour: A space to share talent, stories, poems, music, cultural traditions or anything that brings Christmas cheer and joy

Expect a couple of hours filled with warmth, laughter and community spirit. Come in your Christmas jumper, bring your snacks, gather your family or join on your own – everyone is welcome.
