Event description

Description

… and now for something completely different”: this workshop will introduce you to some different methodologies that are used in researching learning in Higher Education.

All are based on qualitative data collection methods but offer alternative approaches. We will be looking in more detail at three very different and perhaps less well known methodologies, Soft Systems, Methodology, Appreciative Inquiry and Auto driven photo elicitation to see what they might offer budding researchers.

Facilitator:

Dr Megan Lawton, College of Learning & Teaching (CoLT)
