Our private classes are for all children aged 4+ who would like to ride their bikes independently. We know not every child will flourish in a group setting, so these private sessions are ideal if your child would benefits from 1:1 tuition or less distractions.
If you would like the same instructor for each lesson, please book the same day each week as different instructors have set days.
Our sessions will cover:
Fitting helmets
Getting on and off the bike (and putting it down safely)
Balance
Control (steering)
Braking
Pedals
Generally we will have the first few sessions with the pedals removed from your child's bike. This allows them to have the seat a little lower and get their feet onto the ground for reassurance, and in turn builds confidence.
Each child is different and we will tailor the sessions to individual needs as much as possible.
