Race for Life Portsmouth - community event
One of JCI's goals is to give something back to our local community.
We’re planning to get involved with Race for Life in July. It's a great day as it is an incredible accomplishment for some of the runners/walkers and lots of money being raised for a very good cause. We’re looking for volunteers to help out with race logistics on the day and we hope to approach the organisers with a large group of willing helpers.
The day will start bright and early at 7:20AM on Southsea Common in order for us to get a briefing, our t-shirts and get in place for the 10K to start at 9AM which is followed by the 5K at 11:30AM. We should be all finished around 1-ish and will plan to hit a local pub if you want to join us.
After a great morning’s work giving back to the local community, we’re also planning some lunch and a drink at a local pub as a way to recover, relax and catch up with other JCI people.
To express your interest, please register for this FREE event and we’ll be in touch.
