Leading historian and author Rachel Trethewey introduces her latest book 'Muv: The Story of the Mitford Girls' Mother'
Everyone knows the 6 flamboyant Mitford sisters but their formidable mother - 'Muv'- has long been overlooked. In 'Muv: The Story of the Mitford Girls' Mother', Devon-based author and leading historian Rachel Trethewey uncovers Sydney Redesdale's pivotal role in shaping her daughters' strong wills, confidence and even their extremism. The book will be available for sale and Rachel will be happy to sign copies.
This event is the first in an occasional series of literary events, brought to you by Friends of Topsham Library in partnership with Topsham Community Association. It is free to attend but donations are encouraged.
