Royal Academy of Dance will be hosting a pop up performance event at Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre and we are looking for dancers who would like to perform. Join us for this exciting event in the centre of Leeds and delight shoppers with your best performances. You will receive a warm-up class taught by a dance professional and have the chance to perform a routine of your choice, in any dance style. This is a free, unique performance opportunity for RAD dancers, not to be missed!

- The date of the event is Sunday, 29 October 2017 (closing date 15 September)
- The event will take place between 11am - 4pm. Your performance time will be confirmed after closing date
- You can bring any dance style.
- You can bring a solo, duo, trio or small group.
- Please bear in mind that the performance area is 6m x 6m approximately.
- Dancers should be aged 18 or under.
- You can propose to bring more than one routine, please complete a new form for each routine you enter.
- There are no fees to take part in this event, but please note that you must arrange and pay for your own travel to and from the event.
- The event may be photographed and/or filmed and RAD will seek consent from the parent/guardian of each dancer prior to the event.

To express an interest in taking part in this showcase, please click 'register'. You will be asked to submit details of the dance you are proposing to bring to the event. This form can be completed by the dancer, parent/guardian or teacher.

Please note that places in the showcase are limited, so by registering your interest, your place in the showcase is not yet confirmed. You will be contacted by RAD to confirm if you have been given a performance slot.

This event has been made possible through a partnership with Harlequin Floors who are providing the dance floor.

This event has also been made possible from the Yorkshire Youth Dance Theatre Fund which provides funds for events which are designed to give students a taste of performing and to inspire young dancers. The YYDT fund is administered by the Regional Committee for Northern England, Yorkshire and the Humber and forms part of the Yorkshire Youth Dance Theatre Fund. The Yorkshire Youth Dance Theatre Fund is a Restricted Fund of the Royal Academy of Dance.
