Personal development experts from Elemental Practice LLP, founders of The Spring Project, will facilitate the day and lead the training.
The Radical Employability training is intended to expand a person's capacity to create extraordinary value with integrity in their life and work. The design of the programme enables people to reflect more deeply on who they are, their assumptions about how the world works, and the contribution they want to make, creating real transformation in both their perspectives and their prospects. Feedback from past participants is below.
What does the training consist of?
The sessions go deeply into the domains of values and purpose as a basis for unlocking brilliance. The training is made up of interactive talks, paired and small group exercises, large group dialogue and regular opportunities for personal and group reflection. It will also be an opportunity for participants to enhance their peer network.
The people that have benefitted most from this type of training in the past are those that have come with an open-mind and a willingness to learn. The training is experiential and the more sincerely a person is willing to participate, the more they are likely to get out of the day.
The day will start promptly at 9.30am and will run until 5pm - please arrive on time and be prepared to attend for the whole event.
Refreshments will be provided on the day.

Feedback from Past Participants
"Guys I'd like to whole hearted thank you for a truly eye opening day. I had really began to doubt myself and my abilities [after being out of work for 6 months] but you were able to make me a realise a change in my attitude and approach doesn't mean that I change who I am (something no one can do). I took your lessons and new found respect for what it means to listen and applied it to an interview I had a week after the training.
They rang me back one hour later saying this is highly unorthodox but we loved you. (One of the best advertising agencies in the country) Clear concise answers, polite, respectful and exuded integrity. I now have a huge sunrise of an opportunity thanks to me being able to express me, just a more honest me. I put that down in a big part to yourselves.
A heartfelt thanks to you all and if there is anything I can ever do to help you out please let me know.”
"When I came to the Spring Project I didn’t know how to find a job, not even how to look for a job or even worse I had no faith in myself…
The Spring helped me to find my strengths, I realised that the limits are on me…
Now 2 months later I work at a job that I wanted to find, I do things I wanted to do and everything started at the Spring.
I have no words to thank you.
‘How you do anything is how you do everything’ [A quote we use in the training]"
"I entered the Spring Project as an unemployed engineering graduate frustrated about the difficulties in finding work within my career path. The Spring provided me with free employability training unlike any other I had experienced and also with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience by volunteering. What I love about the Spring is the emphasis on core values and the messages on contribution. Not only did I receive great advice but I also met some amazing people who were in the same situation as I was.My time at the Spring was very rewarding and helped to boost my confidence and contributed to my success in receiving two jobs offers within my career path.I would recommend the Spring Project to anyone looking for work and looking to improve their employability skills." “First of all, I want to say a really big thank you to The Spring Project! The training day on March 22nd was such a wonderful and eye-opening experience that really delved into the 'art' of CV writing, gave individual help and advice, practical interviewing skills and generally life skills – especially the exercise with Denis at the end of the day. That particular exercise physically showed me how it really is all in the mind. You can condition your mind to believe something, truly altering the way you think and it can come to pass. Although I knows this, it was great to put it into practice and really be shown its power, which the body exercise did for me. I was so amazed and excited at my new-found self-belief.
I was called during the training day to say I was successful in the first stage of interviews. I'm not sure if you remember, but at the end I spoke to both of you regarding the upcoming one due to take place on Tuesday [5 days later] , where I would give a 10 minute presentation. The training day prepared me because I was able to incorporate the skills I learnt of talking slower, allowing me to project my voice better and come across very confident and comfortable. I went in believing I was already part of the company.
The next day, I was called back to say they wanted me to speak to one of the country managers I’ll be dealing with, but still no verbal confirmation whether I got the job. I spoke to the manager 2 days later (Friday) and was called back a few hours later and told that everything was “very very positive and I had done very well in my interviews”, though I still didn't get the confirmation.
Monday I was then called to say I got the job! I was completely ecstatic and could not stop jumping up in the air. I start on April 30th and just wanted to let you all know that I genuinely appreciate your time and expertise.
Thank you thank you thank you and please keep helping other graduates to reach their potential.”
“The Spring Project employment workshops will help you to regain your sense of purpose and direction. They won’t tell you what it is, but you can find it again in yourself.”
"The Spring Project actually helped me realise I was not well prepared for the job market because I was unable to think of a single strength I had which could bring out the energy and authenticity in me. But leaving this place made me more determined to find out these strengths and not allow any obstacles stop me from going to where I want to be"
"The Spring Project helped me to find myself. I got to understand that I was moving without a direction. When I attended this event I was able to identify things that I am brilliant at and also to have a sense of purpose. This has changed the way I perceive myself!" -
"This is a pleasant surprise, nothing like what I was expecting. I would definitely recommend anyone to attend. It will not only give you a fresh perspective about job hunting but will provide you with a renewed attitude about life. Attend with an open-mind and you will benefit a lot." -
I just wanted to say 'Thank you' to all involved for the day of graduate employability training you ran yesterday. Everyone was very welcoming, encouraging and supportive and made the day go very quickly. Having spent the last 10 months searching, applying and interviewing for jobs with no success, I was beginning to feel very frustrated. However, your training has inspired me to change the way I approach my search for work as well as to look at doing some things I had decided to put off doing until later in my life. All the sessions throughout the day were inspiring and helpful and have helped me to focus my mind. The last session with Denis I found particularly helpful and it really pulled everything together for me. I will be recommending your training to my family and friends as well as others. Thanks again.
‘... 1 of the best 3 hours of my university life. It’s a very deep session, which teaches you a number of life lesions. Puts things into perspective. I would highly recommend it to anyone’.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to participate in this training. Not only I learnt lots of useful techniques which I’m definitely going to use in my job hunting, but also, more importantly, I feel more confident that there is something out there I may be good at.
