Description

Two documentaries that experiment with cinematic form to tell personal stories. Whisper Rapture is a portrait of punk-influenced cellist Bonfire Madigan Shive, whose experiences with mental illness and voice hearing animate her music. In On Exile, fragments in search of meaning, ten people share their experiences of depression, then choose music to represent their cathartic journey.

Followed by a Q&A with On Exile director Jose Carlos Teixeira.
