Comment from Former Student, Ben Kavanagh

"I was pleased with the workshop. Adam was able to give detailed and honest answers to questions about radio comedy, covering everything from writing tips to specific production and recording techniques and even a general sense of the world of radio production. Because of the size of the workshop, we were able to cater it very specifically to each person so everyone got something out of it. I enjoyed the pressure of writing and recording a sketch as the final task of the day, as it gave a real idea of how radio comedy is made – and the environment in which it is made. After the workshop, I asked Adam to review some stuff I’d previously recorded, and he was willing and able to provide specific and constructive feedback on what worked and what didn’t. This workshop was a great chance to share ideas, to learn specific tips and to get an idea of how to advance in radio comedy."
