Calling all Rainbows & Brownies - come and join us for all the fun of Rio.
The event consists of the following zones;
Rainbows and Brownies will be in section groups and units will not be split therefore activity group number may fluctuated to accommodate unit numbers.
Please register through Eventbrite to submit your number of attendees. This should then be followed up by either cheque payment to Girlguiding Glasgow HQ or by BACS Payment.
Bookings will be recorded and confirmed on a first come first serve basis and money must be received before registration ends.
Registration will close on the 05/04/2016.
Please discuss transport / coach arrangements with your Division Commissioner. The cost of Transport is not included in the event rate.
We would ask that if you arrange for parents/guardians to drop off your unit girls, that they do so on one of the near by side streets. This is for the safety of all girls and leaders in attendance
Rainbows, Brownies and Leaders should all bring packed lunches. Lunch will be outside so we would be advised for all girls and leaders to bring something to sit on the grass with. (i.e. a tarpaulin, picnic blanket etc.)
All Leaders will receive a complimentary Tea or Coffee.
This is an outdoor event so please ensure girls come with the appropriate clothing etc. (Wet weather clothing, suncream etc)
This is a uniformed event for both girls and leaders.
Rainbows and Brownies will be put in groups upon arrival that will they will be part of for all activities, we will not split units so the numbers in each group may fluctuate.
There will be three zones Carnival, Olympic and Adventure. There will be a range of activities in each, the vast majority will be outdoors. For the last session all groups will come together for the “Closing Ceremony”.
Please ensure that you have one day activity forms completed prior.
Also please ensure adult to child ratios are adhered to for your unit. For an outdoor activity this is as follows; Ages 5-7, 1 Leader per 5 Girls & Ages 7-10, 1 Leader per 8 Girls.
Additional needs / allergies.
Please ensure if any leaders or girls within your group have any additional needs or allergies that this is noted whilst completing the registration form through Eventbrite.
Once your places are confirmed you will receive pre-event information in the weeks prior to the event.
