Beautiful Vintage Double Decker Bus

We are incredibly lucky to be travelling in the beautiful Green vintage double decker Bus for the tour pictured above, driven by Paul Baker, with great thanks to Paul Baker and Dana Wiffren from The Colonel Stephens Society.

Journey Across the Island

We will be visiting key sites across the island to discover the hidden story of how the development of the rail network on Sheppey has shaped the island, in particular with reference to the Sheppey Light Railway.

We will be chasing clues in the landscape, and seeing its rich history in relation to freight and aviation, and its potential future with the development of the Sheppey Light Railway Greenway.

We will also be seeing ways the rail and tram systems have shaped the Queenborough area.

If you need to cancel..

Places are limited on the Bus Tour. If you book, and your circumstances change and you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket or email vicky.wright@sustrans.org.uk. We can then open up the place to someone on the day. Thank you!
