Yes! It is hosted by The Brixton Society (Reg Charity 1058103) who have been providing free events and promoting Brixton for 50 years. Donations are welcome to help Brixton society's work including room hire costs for talks. Booking via Eventbrite is essential for seating numbers.

Yes! You can make a donation by buying a drink. There are alcoholic and non alcoholic options. Also light snacks.

Yes! The Friends of Brixton Library arrange access to toilets and the disabled entrance on Rushcroft Road to make sure everyone is comfortable and welcome.

I saw another talk on Railton Road recently. Is this different?

If that talk was in Herne Hill, yes! Same speaker but a different talk focusing on the Brixton aspect of Railton Road. For a road only a mile long, there is no shortage of material to hold two events. There is also time for your questions and recollections.
