Event description

Come be a part of the 2017 The Railway Challenge, organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (Railway Division). This event showcases the culmination of locomotive building skills, expertise, knowledge, and business acumen of 12 participating teams of undergraduates, graduates in work and apprentices from across the UK and overseas.

The challenge, now in its fifth successive year, has and will continue to bring together teams, officials, volunteers, industry partners and the general public to a weekend filled with miniature (10¼” gauge) railway locomotives.
