Description

Rainbow Playground is a youth-led Pride Festival for LGBT+ youth groups.

It takes place across two sites in Manchester; MMU Brooks Building and HOME Mcr.

Book here to receive a group application form to apply for your places.

Soft drinks, lunch, snacks and a 'packed tea' all available free of charge. A quirky quiet space (on wheels) is provided for youth welfare during the daytime activities.

Activities at Brooks Building between 10am-4pm include climbing wall, theatre, animation, inclusive team sports (with changing facilities), cinema + debates, identity workshops, clothes swap, face painting. More to be confirmed too!

An evening 'Arty Party' at HOME Mcr between 5pm-8:30pm, including a screening of the musical 'Closets' by Iris Film festival Winner Lloyd Eyre-Morgan.

Rainbow Playground is a Proud Trust Festival in partnership with a Young People's Planning Group, 42nd Street, Manchester Libraries, Contact, Manchester Pride, Greater Sports, Manchester Metropolitan University, HOME Mcr, Tandem Theatre and Salford Youth Service.
