Event description

Did you know that sharing your research data can increase your citation potential, increase your visibility within the research community, and lead to new collaboration opportunities?

We're excited to introduce Mendeley Data, the open research data repository, where you can store and preserve your data, and share it with colleagues or the wider world for free. Mendeley Data is now the University's recommended non-discipline-specific repository.

Come along to one of the upcoming workshops being hosted by the University, in partnership with Mendeley Data, to find out all about:

  • Using Mendeley Data to share your research data and get credit for all your research outputs
  • Best practices for organising and managing your research/data
  • How you can help shape the development of the University’s research data tools

The workshops will be held in locations convenient for each of the three faculties. However, if you are not able to attend your faculty specific workshop, please register to attend one of the others.

The first hour of each workshop will be a presentation, demo and discussion. This will be followed by a one hour 'drop-in' session. If you are not available for the whole session, please just drop in for coffee & cakes and a chat about data.

Register today for one of the following events:

  • FSE 17th May, 11-1 Sackville Street Building G41 (drop-in session 12-1)
  • FBMH 17th May, 2-4 Simon Building 5.05 (drop-in session 3-4)
  • Humanities, 18th May, 11-1 Samuel Alexander Building A114 (drop-in session 12-1)
