Birmingham Education Partnership would like to invite all secondary schools to attend the next event in the RADY series.

After successfully launching RADY at Edgbaston Cricket ground and Hall Green Secondary School we are inviting schools to the first RADY Network Meeting at Birmingham City Football Ground on the 5th April 2017 from 13.00 – 16.00.This event is for schools who have implemented the RADY concept in their schools, but also for those who would like to find out more. The programme for the afternoon will include;

  • The latest updates on national information around Pupil Premium and disadvantaged students
  • A review of the ‘Low Income Pupils’ Progress at Secondary School’ Report from the Social Mobility Commission
  • Details of possible action research funding and charitable project funds that individual schools can tap into
  • Reports on some of the innovative approaches already being taken by Birmingham RADY+ schools and about the impact of the work being undertaken with current Year 7 students
  • Opportunities to discuss and share good practice as well as the things that haven’t had the desired impact
  • Discussion of the timeline for actions leading up to the new intake of Year 7 students in September.”
