About this event

Family & Education • Parenting

As children spend more time online for learning, socialising, and entertainment, parents face the challenge of helping them navigate a digital world full of both opportunities and risks. From cyberbullying and exposure to inappropriate content to concerns about fake news and oversharing personal information, online safety has never been more important. Join Highgrove Online School for a special webinar that will give parents the knowledge and tools they need to guide their child’s online experience with confidence.

Led by David Hodgkinson, Head of Coaching and Safeguarding at Highgrove Online School, and Alanna Fraser, a dedicated practitioner in online safety and safeguarding, the session will cover practical strategies parents can use right away. This session will help parents to understand the ‘4 Cs’ of online harm (content, contact, conduct, and commerce), and what they mean for your child. We will explore how to balance trust and monitoring, as well as providing practical tips and tools you can use at home to keep your child safe, supported, and confident online.

By attending, parents will gain valuable insights into creating a safe, supportive online environment at home. Most importantly, you’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of how to balance freedom and protection, ensuring your child can enjoy the benefits of the digital world while staying safe, informed, and resilient.

We hope you can join us for this important conversation!
