Matt is the founder and CEO of Startup Manufactory. With a background in social sciences, venture capital and a two-times co-founder, he orchestrates the team and nurtures the firm’s growth. Matt also acts as startup adviser to top-tier business schools and startup accelerators. Matt used to be a PhD student at the London School of Economics, and read entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School, Oxford University.
Alex Van Klaveren
Alex is currently GM at Sherlock, part of onefinestay. He was previously Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Great Oaks Ventures in New York. He has been a Co-Founder & CEO for three companies - Monocle Order, MedicExchange and LifeStageMedia. His first company Club Class Bus is still running after twelve years in business. He has an MBA from Imperial College and studied at Edinburgh University.
Fergie is currently an Innovation Consultant at Venture Scout and Head of Business Development at retail startup Auto Store Company. He started his first business Base Camp whilst at Edinburgh University and grew it to operations in 7 countries before exiting through a trade sale. He has recently returned from 3 years in Asia where he relaunched the marketing across the region for real estate company Compass Offices & launched project management tool Bizify.
