Raising the bar: a new Museum and Art Gallery for Swindon
Wed 19 April 2017, 19:00 – 20:30 BST
Why does Swindon need a new Museum and Art Gallery in the town centre?
How will one new building generate strong economic growth while becoming the beating heart of our community?
How will it be funded - and what will happen once it's built?
The Swindon Museum and Art Gallery Trust will be revealing all on the evening of the 19th April.
The statement building to house the new museum and art gallery next to the Wyvern will be a catalyst for economic growth, regenerate the town centre, create a new cultural quarter and have something to offer everyone.
Hadrian Ellory-van Dekker, Swindon Museum and Art Gallery Trust director, together with the trustees will bring you up to date with project plans, as well as taking questions from the audience.
Doors open at 18:45 for the 19:00 start. There will be a 15 minute interval and the event will finish at 20:30.
Free parking is available.
New College is regularly served by the local buses. Visit www.thamesdownbus.com or www.stagecoachbus.com.
We hope you can make it.
