Event description

Description

This Food and Drink event draws its inspiration from the distance that businesses have come in raising the profile of quality of local produce, while recognising there is still room for growth.

Leading the discussions will be local producers’ co-operative Food from Argyll, whose members will talk about new ideas and initiatives for distribution and logistics, which play such a vital role in supporting producers working in a dispersed region. Other topics that will be covered across the day include the importance that is now placed on food tourism within the local economy. There will be also be information and advice on finance and funding; digital marketing and branding; and a lunchtime showcase where delegates can meet new producers and partners.
