A Celebration of RVW's choral music in his 150th Anniversary Year
About this event
The Joyful Company of Singers, conducted by Peter Broadbent and Olivia Tait with organist Jeremiah Stephenson, performs a programme of choral masterpieces, including RVW's:
- A vision of aeroplanes
- O Taste and See
- Lord, Thou hast been our refuge
- Bushes and Briars
- Silence and Music
- Three Shakespeare Songs
plus works by Finzi, Holst, and Havergal Brian, and featuring a recent composition by Sarah Cattley and a premiere of a work by Zoe Dixon
There will be a free pre-concert talk at 6.30pm
