Rapid Response: PMS Rides On at the Supreme Court - The Trunki Case
5.30pm for 6pm start
Speakers: Mark Vanhegan QC, Michael Hicks & Jonny Moss
Following last week's Supreme Court judgment in PMS International v Magmatic Limited, at short notice, AIPPI UK is very pleased to welcome counsel for both parties to speak to us about the case. This will be an excellent opportunity to hear about how the case was handled and the scope of Registered Design protection generally.
Drinks will be served afterwards.
This course is directed at all levels of practitioners with an interest in intellectual property and will provide them with an understanding of the case and Registered Designs generally.
Attendance is free for members and new applicants for membership. New membership applications are welcome – please see our website www.aippi.org.uk or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details. Junior membership costs £30 and normal membership is £110. The charge for non-members is £25 (including processing fee), payable online at the time of registration.
At the time of registering, if someone else registers on your behalf (e.g. your secretary or PA), please make sure that they book in your name, so that the name of the person who is attending - and wants the CPDs - ends up on the attendee list.
CPD available for SRA and IPReg and BSB: 1.5 hours. AIPPI United Kingdom is accredited under the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s and the Bar Standards Board’s CPD schemes. SRA accredited course (ref: DKV/AIPP). BSB accredited course (ref: 2064).
