Unwired Planet v Huawei
The long-awaited judgment in the Unwired Planet v Huawei case is due to be handed down on 5 April. This will be the first case to reach judgment in the UK involving determination of a FRAND royalty for standard essential patents and interpreting the guidance from the Court of Justice in Huawei v ZTE on steps the parties must take in making licence offers and responding to such offers. We are pleased to announce that Professor Sir Robin Jacob and Richard Vary have agreed to give us a summary of the judgment and their thoughts on what this may mean for SEP litigation in the English Courts going forward.
