RAPT Lecture by Professor Julian Rivers - Bristol

Julian Rivers studied law at Cambridge and Göttingen Universities before becoming a lecturer at Bristol in 1993. His research interests lie mainly in the area of legal and constitutional theory, with a particular interest in the legal regulation of religions. He was awarded a doctorate in 2004 on the basis of his published work. He is an editor-in-chief of the Oxford Journal of Law and Religion and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Ecclesiastical Law Journal. He was appointed Professor of Jurisprudence in 2007.
