Rare Resources Scotland - Patient Information Day in Dundee
Overview
Genetic Alliance UK present a morning of information and connection in the rare condition community. You can expect sessions on explaining what genetics services are, what happens after receiving the results, and information on accessing local support.
Kirsten Patterson and Katie Douglas from the NHS Tayside Clinical Genetics Team will be joining us to help understand the genetics services and what to expect when you access the services.
Dundee Carers Centre teams will join for a session on accessing local support.
There will be opportunities to connect with other people, families and carers living with rare, genetic and undiagnosed conditions and to ask questions throughout.
The event is due to be held in Dundee at Dundee Carers Centre, from 10am-1pm with disabled parking and access available.
Tickets are free.
