RAUL LAI AND THE ROCKETS

Raul Lai and The Rockets are Rock n Roll lads from Woking and Weybridge. Their songs are rooted in the classic rock style, but has the energy and pace of punk. Raul's debut releases were slow, acoustic songs as a warm up for the upbeat rock songs to come. His lyrics are filled with emotion, and their guitar riffs just make you want to bang your head. The band will embark on their first UK Tour in May 2019. This band has a very exciting future, with much more to come. Check links to their music below:

KARKOSA

Birmingham based rock band Karkosa are making waves in the UK and have the potential to be Korea’s next big thing.

Karkosa formed in Birmingham in 2014 by brothers Michael (vocals & guitar) and Jack (drummer) Warnock. After recruiting Tom Rushton on lead guitar, Ryan Trott on bass and Will Clews on keyboard, the band wrote and recorded a batch of singles which they self released online. Heavily inspired by Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Amazons and Royal Blood, Karkosa blend heavy guitar riffs, subtle synths and Killers-esque monologues, to produce the perfect adolescent anthems.

MONTY TAFT

Monty Taft is a 19 year old from Jersey, he writes about broken friendships and trouble with love. Hard to categorise, he goes to something from a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack, to The Kooks and Ben Howard. He has already shared a stage at Glastonbury with Art Garfunkel, supported Jake Bugg & played a charity show with To Kill A King. His debut EP is also soon in the pipeline!

The Jersey based Indie-folk act has received support with the likes of Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), BBC Introducing, and BBC Radio Jersey.

A songwriter whose precocious ideas seem to tumble forth at every turn, he moves from folk to indie to punk often within the same song.” - Clash Magazine
