From the Romans, through to the industrial revolution, to the music and rave scene. How did Manchester shape itself into being the radical, diverse & ambitious city it is today? Join Actor and History Investigator Chris Hoyle, every weekend, as he takes you on a journey unlocking and celebrating Manchester's incredible past.
You will see beautiful parts of the city whilst hearing stories about radical movements, iconic Mancunians, protests, revolutions and acid house.
The tours lasts around 2 & 1/2 hours with a 15 minute coffee and toilet break.

WHERE?
We meet at the Roman Fort in Castlefield by The Oxnoble Pub, Liverpool Road, Castlefield, M34NQ. The walk ends at the Alan Turing Statue in Sackville Gardens, M13W. There will be a break in a historic pub along the way.
Please note that 4pm is an approximate finishing time. This may vary slightly due to the group size and the speed we collectively walk as a group.
