A full day practical ultrasound vascular access skills workshop
Target Audience:
All clinicians interested in ultrasound guided insertionof peripheral, central and arterial lines
- Ultrasound physics and buttonology.
- Tracking the needle tip using ultrasound.
- Sterile pack preparation, donning and doffing sterile PPE.
- The Seldinger technique, vessel dilation and guidewire control.
- US guided vascular access practice.
- Suturing a vascular line.
- Radiological interpretation and complications.
- Hands on practical focus + lunch and refreshments provided
