As part of RCN London’s commitment to supporting members with continued learning we are putting on a series of educational branch conferences across the city this autumn.
These free, member-led events are a great way to brush up on your nursing skills in a variety of subjects, and are also an opportunity to share knowledge with other RCN members working in your part of London.
The North East London branches’ event will take place on Monday 17 October 2016 at the Royal London Hospital. The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided. Registration is open now and the full agenda will follow.
The theme of the day will be “Nurses, Politics and Passion: Influencing for Success”. The subject follows on from a popular talk given at RCN Congress this summer by American trade union leader Rebecca Patton, who challenged RCN members to become more involved in speaking out for our profession.
Our event will discuss how local members and colleagues in North East London can engage with the political process and speak out for ourselves and our patients.
