Description

An excellent oppourtunity to network, share and celebrate the work we have been doing in the region, and to plan what we can do in the future.

Aim: Occupational therapsits sharing good practice that will help define the profession, empowering practitioners to seek evidence and engage in research that will promote the value of Occupational Therapy.

Guest speakers:

Dr Paul Linsley from the University of East Anglia will be talking about a new scheme in for the East of England supporting the development of clinical academic careers as part of getting research into practice.

Dee Christie Dip COT, CMS, MA, MRCOT Retired Occupational Therapsit, NICE Fellow 2016-2019 will share some key findings arising from a study undertaken whilst a NICE Fellow and discusses the challenges and strategies for becoming more evidence minded.

Afternoon sessions: A 'Market Place' of table top presentations to share good practice.
