A public research seminar - Title:” Who‘d be a Journal Editor?: The life and times in the editorial hot seat” by Prof Danny Moss.
The seminar will provide insights into the trials and tribulations of editing a journal and the challenges faced in trying to build up the subscription base and to attract and build quality submissions.
Danny Moss will explain some of the challenges that the Journal of Public Affairs [JPA] has faced during its early years in attracting quality contributions and building its subscriber base, and the challenge that JPA continues to face in building up its profile and research ranking.
Danny Moss is co-founding editor of the Journal of Public Affairs, which was first published in January 2001 and over the past 16 year the journal has steadily built a niche following as the leading journal in the field of corporate and public affairs research both in UK, Europe and internationally.
