Description

Re-build and Oxfam invites you to the 'Celebration of Peace' charity concert in support of our humanitarian efforts in Rojava & Syria. The night will begin with a VIP Reception with our readers and performers from 17:00 until 18:00. The doors will open for general admission at 18:00 and the event will start at 18:30.

We bring to you a line up of celebrities and talented musicians to kick-start the joyous festive season, while at the same time raising money for an important and immediate cause.

With the money raised from this concert we will be providing humanitian aid and assistance to internally displaced people in Syria and the refugees who have been affected by the ongoing war.

Jeremy Paxman, Rachel Johnson and Anita Dobson will present readings. Ahmad Al- Rashid, a refugee from Rojava, Syria will give a short talk on his experience of the war and life in the UK.

Trustee of the Refugee Council, Rachael Orr will start the night's programme with a speech.

Dutch-Kurdish singer Dashni Morad, 40 strong all women choir Electric Bells and Covent Garden buskers Lotus Classics will perform an array of music that will take listeners around the world.
