Rest in the heart of your own being and connect more deeply with your creative core.
There will be an introduction to meditation, leading us into stillness. From this freely & playfully create. See what pours forth as we simply engage in the movement of the paintbrush, or the stroke of the charcoal.
Other creative forms will be available if you wish such as voice or movement.
Resting in stillness can be an opening up to creative forms that might want to come forth. Carl Jung called intuition "perception via the unconscious". Often what we create in this way, from a place of not knowing, can be a potent mirror to what lies beneath the surface of our 'every day self'.
You will be in a safe non-judgmental space supported by the facilitation of Naomi West, and a small supportive group.
This retreat is an opportunity to step back from the activities of our lives to explore and enter into a different relationship with ourselves.
We create the space to offer ourselves kindness, supportive attention and openness. There is absolutely no need to have any experience in the creative arts or to be 'good at' anything (a cultural pressure we can let go of).
There will be an opportunity to reflect on the year past and discover what your most important visions are for the year ahead.
We look forward to welcoming those of you that would like to be part of this small group for a weekend journey together.
