Re-Framing Anxiety - Changing our thinking to see the benefits
Event Information
About this Event
Can changing how we think about anxiety make us healthier & happier? We often talk about the negative side of feeling anxious, but what if we re-frame our thinking to understand the positive side? Anxiety is a natural human response and is often felt through thoughts, feelings and physical sensations.
During this talk we will look at the purpose, culture and histories misunderstanding of this feeling, what causes it, and how to experience these feelings more comfortably.
We will take a refreshingly lighthearted look at how you can use this emotion to your advantage along with the opportunities and benefits that understanding this feeling can bring.
For over 10 years Juliette has been studying human behaviour and emotions and runs her own private practice in East Grinstead offering Counselling & Psychotherapy to adults and children. She is also a Lecturer at the International College of Oriental Medicine.
Payment by donation - To ensure this talk is available to all it is offered on a self select fee. The suggested donation is £10. However, if you are unable to afford this you are welcome to select your own donation. All are welcome.
