Re-membering through Ubuntu Consciousness: a decolonial approach to trauma.

This presentation is an invitation to practitioners to dial down on the diagnosis doctrine of trauma and to bring to consciousness the doctrine of curiosity and discovery that invites the multidimensional person into therapy. It`s about moving away from an individualistic approach to trauma healing to a collective approach where trauma is co-sensed. This presentation will offer a redefinition trauma and trauma intelligence using a decolonial lens. Decolonising trauma is about understanding trauma that is in the land (forgotten by others but carried in language and beingness by others).
