Following the pause in some of its duties at the end of 2024, the OfS has confirmed that it will resume new registration and degree awarding powers applications in August 2025.This session will hear from the OfS Degree Awarding Powers Team, who are responsible for revising some of the evidence requirements for those applying to the register. They will give an update on their plans, and run through some of the lessons learned, with anonymised examples from the assessments undertaken prior to the pause in 2024.This session is relevant to those preparing to apply for Degree Awarding Powers (DAPs) from August 2025, and will provide useful information for those currently awaiting resumption of their applications too via the example cases.
