REACH - Building collaborations with voluntary and community organisations:
- Sharing lived experience to build capacity in VCS organisations around gambling harm.
- Destigmatising gambling harm and increasing frontline workers’ confidence to better support people in recovery
- Promoting pathways to specialist support
- Fostering a more understanding environment that supports more people to rebuild positive lives after gambling harm.
A 2 hour workshop , including a lived experience story from one of our team members and an understanding about ethnic minority and hardly reached communities who face extra barriers to receiving support.
This workshop aims to build a VCSE team's skills and confidence about how to spot the signs, how to navigate these conversations and build their knowledge on the pathways available to them.
