Fri 21 April 2017, 17:00 – 19:00 BST
Reach for the Stars Graduation ceromony (Chelmsford)
The Outreach & Recruitment Team at Anglia Ruskin University are pleased to extend an invitation to all students who have taken part in the 'Reach for the Stars' Primary Programme, to an exclusive Graduation Ceremony on Friday 21st April. This graduation will celebrate your child’s participation in our ‘Reach for the Stars’ programme, and will allow your child to share their experience of the campus and of Higher Education with you.
Children who attend the Graduation will have their photograph taken in full graduation robes (robes will be available to borrow for free on the day) and will receive a ‘graduation’ certificate and their photograph as a memento of their day.
Who is it open to?
The Graduation Ceremony is a celebration of the learning achieved by the Year 6 students who took part in our 'Reach for the Stars' Primary Programme. Family and friends are welcome to come along to the Graduation.
Unfortunately if your child has not been part of the 'Reach for the Stars' Primary Programme through their Primary School, they will be unable to take part in this Graduation.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is parking available on campus, but it is limited . In the event that all spaces are full, there are local public car parks within walking distance of the Campus (e.g Rectory Lane West - accessed from Elms Drive, Rectory Lane East- accessed from Chelmer Valley Road [southbound only]). Alternatively, parking is available at the Chelmer Valley Park and Ride. The Park and Ride buses drop off and collect from outside the Lord Ashcroft Building.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not need to bring your ticket to the event, but it is very important that you do register in advance.
How many people can I bring with me?
Although the event is open to the whole family to attend, in the interests of fair allocation of tickets, we reserve the right to allocate two tickets per graduate in the event of over subscription to ensure that as many people as possible have access to the event.
What should I wear?
We do not have a dress code for the Graduation. Please wear whatever makes you comfortable. Previously, some students have 'dressed up' in their best outfit to look nice for their Graduation, but it is not compulsory!
