Event description

Description

- Event 3/3 in LICC's Changing Light Autumn Series 2017 -

With 56% of graduates expecting to be in a management role within three years of starting work, it’s clear that we’re an ambitious generation. But what does the Bible have to say about ambition? How does ambition sit alongside the call to seek first the Kingdom of God? And is it possible to be strategic about career progression without compromising our integrity as a follower of Christ?

Join us as we spend an evening exploring big questions about work and ambition. Accompanied by a full dinner, we will begin the evening with an overview of ambition in the Bible. We’ll then be joined by a panel of experts who will tell their stories of success and ambition in the workplace, and open themselves up to an extended time of Q&A.

Come ready to wrestle with this topic alongside other ambitious young adults and expect to leave both challenged and encouraged about God’s purposes for your work.

Changing Light: Start Work Well is a series of three events for 20-30 year olds, taking place in the Autumn of 2017 and aiming to tackle some of the big questions we all face in the early years of working life.

All events are hosted at LICC in Central London.
