Come join us for a morning hike at Reach The Peaks - Agden & Dale Dike! Lace up your hiking boots and come with us for a lap around these 2 wonderful reservoirs as well as passing below the Strines Reservoir and some great woodland walks between Agden & Dale Dike, as well as on the way back into Low Bradfield.
Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for an enjoyable walk as a beginner, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Enjoy fantastic views, fresh air, and the company of fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this opportunity to reach new heights and make lasting memories.
We will start from The Sands Car Park in Low Bradfield at 8:15 am and head up to Agden Reservoir and take a walk alongside and around the reservoir before heading into the nature reserve behind it.
That relaxed woodland walk brings us out to a fantastic view back down towards Dale Dike and the surrounding landscape before we head along the hill to Strines Reservoir and around the back of Dale Dike Reservoir.
That then takes us through another woodland area, the Wragg House Plantation, before following the Dale Dike stream itself back into Low Bradfield and a return to the car park.

The walk overall should take around 3-3.5 hours, but to factor in sightseeing, differing fitness levels, and just taking in the surroundings, we have scheduled this to take around 4 hours.
🚗 🚎 The car park is free and is pretty central within Low Bradfield, but street parking is also available. We do, however, normally arrive early enough to beat any rush. Unfortunately, the bus service to Bradfield doesn't run on a Sunday as far as we are aware.
💧☀️ Please remember to bring water/drinks and snacks as this is a longer walk and you will need to stay hydrated and fueled. Don't let the colder weather fool you!
🥾 We also recommend good sturdy walking boots or shoes to keep a steady footing throughout. With the wetter weather we've seen, parts of this route can be muddy and/or slippery.
☎️ If there are any issues on the day (like you are running late or struggling to find us) then please call Tom on 07860597733
