About this event
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with ReachOut. This session is designed to tell you a little more about ReachOut's main volunteering programmes, give you an opportunity to ask questions and help you decide which one suits you.
ReachOut is a mentoring and social mobility charity that supports young people from disadvantaged communities in Greater Manchester, Liverpool and London. We help young people to grow and develop with the support of a volunteer mentor. Each mentoring session is led by a Project Leader - a part time member of staff who we provide with a Career Mentor.
Mentoring a young person is a brilliant opportunity to give back to your local community. This is a weekly volunteering opportunity designed to support young people aged 9-16 to develop their confidence and character. Mentors are positive, volunteer role models from the local community.
Career Mentoring is a low commitment, flexible volunteering opportunity designed to provide ReachOut's part time staff professional development support from a mentor. You will mentor an adult and support them with CVs, applications and general work life skills.
Please note this session is designed for people thinking about becoming a volunteer mentor, rather than someone looking for a mentor.
