Join us for a fun Read and Create session for children under 5. Enjoy a morning of storytelling and simple crafts for your little ones, and discover famous artists and their artworks along the way.
In our cozy under 5s session, we’ll enjoy a story together, explore and chat about some inspiring artworks, and then dive into a fun craft activity—creating something of our own inspired by the art and the story we’ve shared.

Our Art and Design collection is a treasure trove of national significance, proudly designated by Arts Council England. Dive into a rich selection of late 19th and early 20th century publications that cover everything from architecture and antiquities to design, fashion, fine art, and photography.
Explore our extensive periodical collection, featuring significant runs of Apollo, British Vogue, Tatler, and Studio. Our collection continues to grow with the latest exhibition catalogues and new publications, supporting a fantastic art lending collection that’s sure to spark your creativity.
