Read Queer, Write Queer: Finding your Voice
Overview
In this workshop, we will come together to discuss the art of queer storytelling. The first half of this session will include recommendations for queer books and poems, and you will have the opportunity to discuss short excerpts, considering how they might inspire and shape our creative practice. Following this, I will share some practical strategies for developing voice, confidence, and intention in your work. The purpose of this workshop is to inspire each other's creative growth, and you will have the opportunity to discuss your current projects and your creative goals for 2026. Writers of all genres and experience levels are welcome, as are those who are building the confidence to write their first piece. Bring a pen and paper. If you wish, you may come prepared with some tips or questions to share with the group.
Upon booking you will be invited to a shared online space where we can share recommendations, resources and excerpts of your work if you feel to!
